How long before I can use my new concrete?
You can usually walk on it after 24 to 48 hours and drive on it after about a week. Concrete keeps gaining strength for roughly a month, so we will tell you when it is ready for heavy loads.
Will my new concrete crack?
All concrete moves; the goal is controlling where. Correct base prep, air-entrained mix, and well-placed control joints mean any cracking happens invisibly inside the joints instead of across the slab. That is the standard we pour to.
Is stamped concrete worth the extra cost?
If you want the look of stone or pavers with the durability and lower maintenance of a monolithic slab, yes. It costs more than broom finish, needs periodic resealing, and looks dramatically better — a fair trade for patios and entries.
Can you pour in cold weather?
Within limits — cold-weather pours require blankets, additives, and careful timing, and below certain temperatures it is better to wait. We schedule honestly rather than risk a slab that never cures right.
